About
Atahan Özmen graduated from Istanbul University, Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education, Department of English Language Education in 2011. He graduated from Anadolu University, Institute of Health Sciences in 2014 and started working as a Specialist Language and Speech Therapist.
He has been providing language and speech therapies in various centers and institutions since 2014. During his language and speech therapist specialization training, he performed 450 hours of clinical practice in the field of diagnosis, evaluation and therapy of language and speech disorders at Anadolu University, Language and Speech Disorders Training, Research and Application Center (DÄ°LKOM).
In addition to these clinical practices, he observed in the neurology and ear-nose-throat clinics at EskiÅŸehir Osmangazi Faculty of Medicine and took courses in related fields. He attended trainings and congresses regarding language and speech disorders. He is a member of the Association of Language and Speech Therapists.

My Professional Approach
Language, speech and communication are indispensable abilities that affect every moment of an individual's life. These abilities, which largely determine a person's life efficiency, quality of life and success, must be used effectively and correctly within the person's potential. Problems and difficulties that arise in language, speech and communication skills reduce the person's quality of life and prevent him from realizing himself. As a language and speech therapist, our primary duties are to accurately diagnose the language, speech and communication problems experienced by the individual and to provide support and assistance to those who really need us. Individuals who develop these skills, increase their quality of life and realize themselves as a result of the help and support we provide are our greatest source of motivation and success.
